COVID SAFETY PLAN
- On Wednesday 15th of December 2021 the Tasmania state border restrictions will be lifted
- there will be increased numbers of people coming into the state
- The risk of covid in our community will undoubtedly increase
- All staff at the practice will be wearing masks
- Where possible appointments will be by
- video
- telephone
- face to face - sticking to the 15 minue time limit as per COVID safe restrictions
- All patients attending the practice are to wear a mask if you do not have one you will be provided with a mask
- No patient will be refused treatment but COVID safety restrictions will be strictly adhered to
- It is unclear at this time how long these measures will remain in place
BOOSTERS
- Boosters are available for those patients who had their second immunisations 3 months ago, and for those patients who are deemed high risk and who have had a primary course of 3 , then its 3 months from the third dose
- There are limited stock available between now and Christmas due to the logistics of ordering and using the stock in a timely manner around Christmas holiday periods
- In January though there will be clinics readily available
- the Vaccine is Pfizer that will be availalbe
