Current New Patient Policy
Don Medical Clinic welcomes new patients, however due to current high demand and limited doctor availabilityat Don Medical, the Clinic has revised the New Patient Policy .
- Adolescent and Young people aged 12 -24
- Don Medical Clinic will consider all new referrals in this age group, however we cannot guarantee acceptance.
- New patients to the area
- Many practices have closed their books to new patients. At this stage we do not have capacity to take on any new patients and we will continue to review this policy dependent on GP capacity
- Most of the GPs work part time and specific days and times which will affect patients with complex needs and those who only want to see the same GP as availablity may be limited
- People who have direct family members already registered at Don Medical Clinic may be given consideration when applying as new patients, however we cannot guarantee acceptance.
This Policy will continue to change due to our capacity to attract doctors to our clinic.
